Off-season player updates

NZ NBL

Kyle Adnam has led his Nelson Bay Giants to their first win of the season over the Mountainairs with 26 points 6 assists and 4 rebounds in Round 5 of the NZ NBL

With the game tied heading into the final minute of the game, Adnam maintained his composure and attacked the basket to help the team snap their six game losing streak.

Kyle also had 8 points and 4 assists in the team’s loss to the Breakers.

Tai Wesley continued his dominance with the Saints, notching another two wins over the long-weekend.

Tai had 23 points and 7 rebounds in their win against the Sharks and backed it up with a double-double of 18 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in his team’s win over Tohi Smith-Milners Caterbury Rams.

Smith-Milner dropped 10 points in the team’s win over the Mountainairs.

SEABL

The SEABL league had a bye round over the Easter break.

French National Basketball League (Pro A)

Dave Andersen and Casper Ware have had a win and a loss in their last two games with Asvel.

Losing to Le Portel last Tuesday, Andersen had 7 points whilst Ware added 7 points and 7 assists.

Their side backed it up with win over JDA Dijon over the weekend, Dave chipping in 4 rebounds and Ware with 9 points and 3 assists.

ASEAN Basketball League

Josh Boone’s side the Hong Kong Eastern Long Lions have won their second game of the ABL Finals, tying the series 1 – 1.

Playing through an injury, Boone knocked down 23 points, 16 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks for Hong Kong.
