You couldn’t have asked for more perfect conditions, with close to one hundred keen golfers turning out for the Melbourne United Golf Day on Monday.
Hosted by Metropolitan Golf Club in Oakleigh, the sunshine was welcomed by all with a mix of talent taking to the course in teams of four.
The Golf Day is one of the many corporate events Melbourne United holds throughout the year with participants enjoying breakfast on arrival, drinks throughout the day, and a two-course lunch after a day on the greens.
“These events are a fantastic opportunity to get together with our corporate partners in a more casual environment, and are always a great success” Melbourne United GM of Commercial Luke Fenwick said.
“Our United in Business network has continued to grow year on year and it was great to see so many of our UIB members and sponsors attend on the day”.
"We were very grateful for the fantastic involvement from AHG, Art Series Hotel, Bulla, Dreamstreet, Wilson, Gradi 400, Moet Hennessy, Graphic Effects and Glenferrie meats in making the event a success".
Teams also had the opportunity to sponsor a hole on the course with signage and giveaways and concluded the day with a major and silent auction.
