In his return to his home state, Tanner Krebs filled up the stat sheet for the Ringwood Hawks.

First facing Hobart on Friday, Krebs led from the front, scoring 21 points to keep the Hawks in the game, however a fourth-quarter run from the home side gave the Chargers a comfortable win.

Looking to bounce back, the United star again tallied 21 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists against the North West Tasmania Thunder the next evening, helping Ringwood to a 20-point win.

Dash Daniels also enjoyed a victory on Saturday, improving Sandringham’s record with the Next Star in the lineup to 2-0. He racked up 18 points off the bench, including a late triple to help hold off Nunawading on the road.

Across the ditch, Kyle Bowen did a little bit of everything in Canterbury’s battle with the Nelson Giants. The two-point win keeps the Rams on top of the NZNBL ladder after 10 rounds.
