STAT WRAP - NBL25 Round 6

Welcome to STAT WRAP, Melbourne United’s weekly round-up of all the key stats from our games. Take a look below at who shined on the court, and the trends leading the way throughout the team.

FLYNN IS FIRING

Stepping into the starting lineup for the first time this season, Flynn Cameron thrived under the bright lights.

Missing both Matthew Dellavedova and Shea Ili against Illawarra, Cameron was aggressive, setting a new career-best in scoring with 18 points on 61.5% shooting.

He followed this up on Sunday by recording the first double-double of his career, notching 18 points and 10 rebounds in 26 minutes.

BOARD MAN

So far in NBL25, there has not been a better rebounder than Jack White.

The star forward sits atop the competition’s rebounding leaderboard, but his ability to clean the glass goes so much deeper than raw numbers.

When on the court, White has gobbled up 32% of all available defensive rebounds, limiting second chance points and getting our fast-break offence going.

This was on full display on Thursday night when the Traralgon native pulled down 19 rebounds; the second most in club history.

SWING, SWING, BUCKET

One of the aspects of Sunday's win that would have most pleased Head Coach Dean Vickerman is the way his guys moved the ball to find open shots against the Taipans.

Across the 43-point drubbing, we tallied 28 assists, which is tied for the third most the team has ever recorded.

Leading the way was Kyle Bowen, who dished out a career-best five dimes, while White and Ian Clark came away with four assists.

Across the season, we rank second in assists per game, sitting just behind our opponents for this Thursday; the Kings.

United’s stars will look to continue their momentum this week as they prepare for a pair of home games, first against the Sydney Kings on Thursday from 7:30pm, which will be streamed live on ESPN via Kayo.

We will then hit the court on Melbourne Cup Eve on Monday from 7:30pm against the New Zealand Breakers which will also be streamed live on ESPN via Kayo.

The only way to make sure you don’t miss a second of United basketball during NBL25 is by securing a ticket today.
