Welcome to STAT WRAP, Melbourne United’s weekly round-up of all the key stats from our games. Take a look below at who shined on the court, and the trends leading the way throughout the team.
LIGHTS OUT SHOOTING
Sunday afternoon saw our guys catch fire from beyond the arc, ultimately splashing 20 three-pointers in the 113-93 victory over Adelaide.
Flynn Cameron led the way, tallying a career-best seven triples, while Ian Clark added four of his own off the bench.
It is just the third time in the club’s history that we have connected on 20 or more three-pointers, with the record being set almost 10-years to the day ago, also against the 36ers when a David Barlow led United side managed 22 triples in a 39-point win.
Our three-point shooting is a great indicator of success. In games where we have at least 15 long-range makes, our record as a club is 27-1.
Flynn Cameron has made FOUR triples in his 10 minutes 🔥

ILI, BOWEN SET THE TONE
While their scoring numbers don’t jump off the page, the impact Shea Ili and Kyle Bowen had on the game cannot be understated.
In just 16 minutes, Ili was phenomenal, with United outscoring the Sixers by 20 points when he was on the floor as he pushed the pace to create opportunities.
Bowen was equally impressive, finishing as a +17 in his minutes while tallying nine points, nine rebounds, two steals and two assists.
MOVE THE BALL, SECURE THE W
Our 23 assists were the most in any game across the course of Round 9.
It is the seventh game this season where we have dished out at least 20 dimes, and in those games, we have a 7-0 record with an average winning margin of 22.4 points per game.
Matthew Dellavedova led the way, handing out seven assists, while Shea Ili registered six of his own.
The pair rank third and sixth respectively among qualified players in assists per game this season.
United’s stars will look to build on their three-game winning streak after the FIBA break in a matchup with the Sydney Kings at John Cain Arena from 2:30pm on Sunday 1 December.
The only way to make sure you don’t miss a second of United basketball during NBL25 is by securing a ticket today.
