While every Melbourne United home game provides unmatched excitement, our collection of marquee themed games never fails to take the sporting experience to the next level.
This will be the case once again in NBL26, as we pack the schedule with an array of truly can’t miss matchups and gamedays.
As always, our fiery Throwdown clashes against the South East Melbourne Phoenix are a highlight for fans, as we look to extend our all-time series advantage.
These games will come in Round 2, providing an early-season stoush, and in Round 22, setting up a potentially huge pre-playoffs matchup.
Across October, we will celebrate those within our community, first with The Grassroots Game on Sunday the 12th, followed by The Multicultural Game on Sunday the 19th
The Multicultural Game will once again feature a free Multicultural Festival outside of John Cain Arena leading up to tip-off, as well as special activations throughout the contest.
November will see the club celebrate our Indigenous culture as part of the NBL’s Indigenous Round on Monday the 3rd, before embracing the league’s best fans with the Member Appreciation Game on Saturday the 15th.
Things will continue to go to another level in December, starting with our Space Jam showdown against the Sydney Kings on Sunday the 14th, which will precede perhaps the most anticipated game of the season; the Original Open Air Game on Tuesday the 23rd.
Following our stretch of games away from John Cain Arena due to the Australian Open, our first game back will be another showcase of inclusion as we embrace the NBL’s Pride Round on Saturday the 7th of February.
