Back in the NBL1 South, the Sabres returned to the winners list on Sunday afternoon in emphatic fashion, crushing the visiting Bendigo Braves. Campbell Blogg continued to lead his team and contribute solid numbers across the board, with his highlight of the day being a monster right handed dunk in transition courtesy of a David Barlow dime. The win maintains Sandringham’s ability to lock in a top four spot, with their 14-6 record and games to Frankston and Melbourne to finish the season.
