Blogg slams home Sabres' eighth-straight win

All three of Melbourne United’s Development Players took to the court across the nation in the NBL1 this weekend.

Campbell Blogg helped the Sandringham Sabres to the side’s eighth-straight win in the South Conference, throwing down a powerful dunk in the process against the Ringwood Hawks.

Malith Machar also enjoyed a victory, despite a slower scoring game, keeping his Forestville Eagles locked into a top-two spot in the Central Conference.

Unfortunately for Zac Triplett, he and the Keilor Thunder fell short by a single basket in both their games despite his best efforts, including a 29-point performance on Saturday.

SATURDAY

Blogg - 14 points, four rebounds, one assist
90-84 win vs Ringwood.

Triplett - 29 points, eight rebounds, six assists
89-91 loss vs Diamond Valley

Machar - Eight points, 12 rebounds
90-84 win vs Sturt Sabres

SUNDAY

Triplett - 15 points, five rebounds, two assists
88-89 loss vs Bendigo Braves
