“I think we’re capable of winning the Championship,” Barlow told MU Media.

When it comes to winning in the NBL, few have done it quite like David Barlow.

Now a member of Melbourne United’s coaching staff, the five-time NBL Champion has made it clear that even though he’s swapped his basketball shoes for a clipboard, the ultimate goal remains the same.

“I think we’re capable of winning the Championship,” he told MU Media.

“That’s our goal, as it is with every team. We’re absolutely capable of that and I look forward to that challenge as we all do.

“I think we’ve put together a group of players that’s going to be able to contend for a Championship this year, next year and for years beyond, and that’s very exciting.”

Melbourne United’s roster build is almost complete following the signing of import guard Ian Clark, who joins incoming stars like Matthew Dellavedova, Jo Lual-Acuil Jr, Luke Travers, Tanner Krebs, Flynn Cameron and Kyle Bowen.

As excitement builds towards the start of United’s NBL24 campaign, the time is now to lock in your seat for each and every game at John Cain Arena!
