Daniels named to Emus 20-man selection camp for U19 World Cup

Melbourne United Next Star Dash Daniels has been named to the 20-man selection camp for the Australian Emus U19 FIBA World Cup.

Daniels, who recently returned from the Nike Hoop Summit in the United States, will hit the court for the camp at the Centre of Excellence in Canberra.

The 17-year-old guard is no stranger to representing his country at the junior level, having led Australia to gold medals at the U18 FIBA Asia Cup in 2024, 2023 FIBA U16 Asian Championship and 2022 FIBA U15 Oceania Championship.

Australia will face America, France and Cameroon in Group D.

The FIBA U19 Men’s World Cup will be held in Switzerland from 28 June – 6 July.
