Dellavedova lifting his teammates ahead of do or die clash

Matthew Dellavedova has done it all across his basketball career.

Multiple NCAA Tournament runs, an NBA championship and an Olympic Medal, his resume is unmatched by anyone in the NBL.

‘Delly’ is averaging 25 points, nine assists and three steals, and has, according to Head Coach Dean Vickerman, spread his unmatched winning desire throughout the rest of the playing group.

Speaking ahead of Game 3, Vickerman praised his star guard.

“His desire to not lose is unbelievable right now and that’s flowing through our group through the intensity that he’s playing at,” he said.

“His ability to use his strength… We've always known that’s been there in the way he posts up but even out of a punch screen, getting downhill, pushing fives off to be able to get some space or get fouled, he’s been exceptional.

“We knew that there’s another level that Delly goes to in key moments and we’ve seen that all year.”
