Despite their last-second Game 3 loss, Melbourne United remain confident heading into a do-or-die Game 4 in Tasmania on Thursday evening.
Speaking on Sunday evening, Matthew Dellavedova, who tallied a game-high 21 points to go along with eight assists and three steals, said while the emotions are raw, his side knows what to do to force a decisive Game 5.
“Obviously we’re really disappointed, frustrated,” he told the media.
“Jack (McVeigh) hits a big shot but now we’ve just got to recover, focus, see what we can do to get better.
“I felt like we were in control and had a lead for most of the game, so there’s a lot of things that worked. There are some things we need to work on and execute the coverage and the game plan a bit better… Connection in pick and roll, defending the three, keep pushing the pace, and rebounding.
“(We’ll) go down there, it’s going to be a fun environment, and get a win.”
Dellavedova and the rest of United’s stars will take to the court on Thursday evening from 7:30pm at MyState Bank Arena.
