Delly ready for fans to provide a boost of energy

After 49 long days, Melbourne United are finally set to return to John Cain Arena, in front of the best fans in the league.

Having only played a trio of games at JCA so far, Matthew Dellavedova says he can’t wait to be back in front of the United faithful, including number 1 ticket holder Tones And I, who will be performing live at half-tme.

“There’s just a lot of excitement to be back in front of our home fans.

“With Tones And I performing at halftime, it’s going to be a packed crowd and we’re looking forward to it.

“It was a lot of fun playing those three home games earlier in the season… There’s a lot of energy and excitement and noise from the fans.”

The defending champs went 6-1 across their extended road trip, and Delly says that his side is eager to showcase their same high-level of performance at home.

“I think showing the form we did on the road and knowing we’re going to be home for a while, I think everyone is excited to be playing at John Cain Arena and see the fans.”
