Drinkwise Preview: NBL25 - Blitz, Game 2 v Brisbane Bullets

Melbourne United will look to keep up their momentum on the Gold Coast when they face off against the Brisbane Bullets on Tuesday evening.

Having already faced off once in the pre-season; a 15-point Bullets win in Casey, plenty of eyes will be locked on the contest to see the sort of adjustments both teams have made.

Following their loss to Brisbane two weeks ago, United have picked up a pair of wins, one against the SEM Phoenix in double OT, and one in their first game of the Blitz on Saturday night against the Cairns Taipans.

Ian Clark has been a standout in both games, averaging 16 points per game and cashing in on six three-pointers.

For Brisbane, their busy lead-up to the Blitz included three straight victories before going down by a single point to Adelaide.

Facing the defending champion Tasmania JackJumpers in their first game on the Gold Coast, the Bullets built their lead across the first and third quarters, ultimately finishing with a 13-point W.

STARS COLLIDE

While both teams feature a deep collection of perimeter talent, the battle of the bigs inside the paint is sure to produce some fireworks come Tuesday.

One of the most physically imposing players in the NBL, Tyrell Harrison will look to bully his way towards the hoop, while 220cm Rocco Zikarsky provides Brisbane with elite rim protection.

Tasked with matching the Bullets duo will be Marcus Lee, who tallied five points, five rebounds and two blocks against the Taipans, and Rob Loe, who had a 12-point, 12-rebounds double-double on Saturday.
