Melbourne United Media
With the FIBA Break over, we are set to return to the court in hopes of extending our league-best winning streak to four games on Sunday at home against the Sydney Kings.
Over our history, we have dominated home matchups with our harbour-town rivals at home, winning 15 of the 20 previous clashes.
This includes our only previous meeting of NBL25, which saw Jack White deliver some huge game-winning plays down the stretch in Round 7.

WHO’S HOT, WHO’S NOT
(Past five games)
United - W, L, W, W, W
Kings - L, W, W, L, W
Right now, no team is as hot as us, especially at home.
We have won five of our past seven home games, three of which have come by 20 points or more.
Four of these five victories have also seen our guys put up huge numbers on the scoreboard, tallying 106 points or more.
For the Kings, scoring the ball has at times been an issue. Sydney have only managed more than 90 points in three of their 14 games this season, and have not reached 90 points in their past eight outings.
STARS COLLIDE
With six players averaging over 20 minutes per game for Sydney, it can be hard to know exactly which star will shine bright from night to night.
There is however no doubt that their focus will be on slowing down Chris Goulding when they hit the John Cain Arena floor.
Across our three-game winning streak, Goulding is averaging 28.7 points per game, with 5.7 made three-pointers per game.
With Goulding dominating from the perimeter, opportunities will open up for Jack White to thrive in the paint. White finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds when the teams met in Round 7. He currently leads the league in double-doubles.
