Melbourne United celebrated their stars at the annual awards evening

As Melbourne United heads towards what is sure to be a busy offseason, the club first took time to celebrate the achievements and milestones that took place across a spectacular NBL24 campaign.

For the second straight year, Chris Goulding took home United’s MVP award, having put together a shooting season for the ages.

Playing in all 36 of MU’s games, Goulding cashed in on 140 three-pointers, more than anyone else in the 40-minute era and the fourth most in league history. The award goes along with his All-NBL First Team selection.

Melbourne’s Defensive Player of the Year award went to Shea Ili.

A now three-time winner of the club’s DPOY, Ili’s dogged defensive energy fuelled United at countless points in the season.

The SHARE award, which is voted on by the players each week, was won by Matthew Dellavedova.

Having returned from a season back in the NBA, Delly showcased his grit every night, raising his play to whatever level was needed in big moments.

Off the court, High Performance Manager Steve McAdam took home the Vince Crivelli Club Person of the Year award.
