Few things can prepare an athlete for the pressure and stage presented at the Olympic level.
It’s a sporting experience unlike anything else, and ahead of the Paris 2024 Games, Melbourne United’s United in Business members are set to be treated to an afternoon with a collection of Olympic stars at the Major Luncheon on 7 June.
Headlined by Cathy Freeman, who will delve into the world of high-performance and what it takes to compete at the top alongside Luke Darcy, those in attendance will be privy to an unforgettable experience.
This extends to all things Olympic hoops, with Andrew Gaze, Chris Goulding and Tess Madgen set to take the stage for a Q&A.
Boasting eight trips to the Olympics between them, the trio will break down how the Boomers and Opals campaigns are looking.
This will be especially illuminating when it comes to Goulding, who is among the 17 players fighting for a stop on the Boomers squad set to head to France.
Taking place at CENTREPIECE, the afternoon will feature an amazing two-course meal, as well as networking opportunities for all in attendance and live entertainment.
Tables of 10 remain available for $3,500, while single seats are on sale for $375.
