Ili named in Tall Blacks' Trans-Tasman Throwdown squad

Melbourne United star Shea Ili is set to represent his country in May as part of the Trans-Tasman Throwdown series.

The two-time NBL Best Defensive Player has been named as part of New Zealand's 14-man squad for the trio of games against Australia in May.

Ili is three games into his return to the NZNBL with the Wellington Saints, where he has amassed a perfect 3-0 record while averaging 18.3 points, 7.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
