Melbourne United import guard Ian Clark will sit out the team’s sold out season opening Throwdown on Thursday evening with a hamstring injury sustained at the NBL Blitz.
Development Player Malith Machar will suit up in the sharpshooter’s place. Fellow DP Campbell Blogg will also suit up for the contest.
Clark will go through a fitness test on Saturday to determine whether he’s available for MU’s road trip against the Adelaide 36ers on Sunday afternoon.
