Jo Lual-Acuil Jr has continued his dominant start to his stint in Lebanon, helping Dynamo draw closer to a spot in the Championship series.

JLA went off in his side’s Semi Final Game One victory over Beirut, tallying 28 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. One more win will advance Dynamo into a Grand Final Series Clash with Riyadi.

Elsewhere overseas, Chris Goulding didn’t take the court in Paris’ loss to Blois. His side will now need to win its final two games to give themselves a chance at playing in the postseason.

Closer to home, Tanner Krebs had his best weekend for Gold Coast, who picked up a pair of wins in the NBL1 North.

The wing did a bit of everything in the two games, first leading the Rollers in scoring with 29 points against Mackay before dropping 23 points, 12 assists and five threes the following day against Rockhampton.

Moving south, Zac Triplett shined for Keilor in a big win over Kilsyth. The sharpshooter scored 27 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists.

Also enjoying success was Brad Newley, who put together a strong showing at home for Frankston against Ballarat.

Newley’s 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists helped push the Blues towards another win and maintain top-spot on the ladder.

Campbell Blogg and David Barlow had mixed results with Sandringham, splitting their two games. Blogg averaged 14 points across the pair of games, while Barlow scored six in the win over Dandenong, but did not take the court in the loss to Knox.

Cal Dalton had a similar weekend to the Sabres pair, picking up a win and a loss for Eltham. The big man scored 20 in a losing effort against Nunawading before bouncing back in a solid victory against Dandenong, where he tallied eight points, four assists and three rebounds.

Moving to the Central Conference, Malith Machar had a stress-free game as his Forestville Eagles destroyed Norwood. Machar played just 17 minutes, finishing with nine points and nine rebounds.
