Melbourne United celebrates NAIDOC Week

Melbourne United are proud to acknowledge and celebrate National NAIDOC Week, which spans from Sunday 6 July to Sunday 13 July.

The 2025 theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of our young leaders, the vision of our communities, and the legacy of our ancestors.

At Melbourne United, we believe in using the power of basketball to inspire, entertain and enrich people's lives, while living our values of selfness, inclusion and excellence.

On the back of this, we continually look at ways we can better create an environment that is welcoming, and celebrates all.

It is through initiatives such as with the Koorie Basketball Academy, as well as our support of various Indigenous programs and the NBL’s Indigenous Round, that we hope to achieve this within the Indigenous community.

Melbourne United encourages all our fans to join us on this journey of education and inclusion by engaging with NAIDOC Week 2025 and celebrating the "Strength, Vision & Legacy" that continues to enrich Australia.
