Melbourne United’s major partner of the last five seasons, Roll’d Vietnamese, will not be continuing into NBL24. From the entire organisation, we would like to thank them for everything they have done for the club and its surrounding community.
A young brand that has seen itself grow massively and enjoy success around the country much like Melbourne United, Roll’d Vietnamese has been synonymous with the club over the past five years.
The partnership has been one that has excited our fans, who have held their breath on every Chris Goulding three-pointer in hopes of securing a delicious soldier, while also helping United give back to the community through events like the Roll’d Vietnamese 3-Point Hero competition, and the Multicultural 3x3 Tournament.
CEO and Co-Founder of Roll’d Vietnamese Bao Hoang said he is proud of everything the two organisations have been able to achieve together and looks forward to continuing to contribute to the club as fans in the stands.
“Although it is sad to see our major partnership with Melbourne United finish, we thank the entire club from ownership to the players and coaches and staff for their partnership, engagement and constant drive to further the relationship in and out of season.
“We wish the club and the players all the best for the future, and I have no doubt that we’ll stay close and connected to the club and team on many different levels.”
These sentiments were echoed by Melbourne United CEO Nick Truelson, who in his two years with the organisation has seen the magnitude of what the club has been able to accomplish alongside Roll’d Vietnamese.
“Everyone at Melbourne United would like to thank Bao, along with the entire team across the country at Roll’d Vietnamese for the hard work and dedication they have put into this partnership over the past five years, and wish the organisation all the best for the future.
“Both organisations have such a core focus on multiculturalism and the community as a whole which has made for one of the most aligned sporting partnerships in Australia over the last five years.
“We look forward to having Bao and the team at our games cheering us on and equally we look forward to seeing Roll’d continue to build into one of the biggest and best national QSR brands in Australia.
“We will forever be grateful for all of the support Roll’d Vietnamese provided us with, especially during the COVID years, which has allowed us now to thrive into the future.
“To Bao, thank you. Your loyalty, passion and friendship is something that we will always be grateful for.”
