Melbourne United & SEDA Group launch year two of the Melbourne United Sport & Business Program

After a successful first year, Melbourne United and SEDA Group are excited to announce the second intake for the Melbourne United Sport & Business Program is now open.

The Melbourne College of Sports Careers (MCSC) delivers educational programs designed to develop the knowledge and skills of students in order to assist their journey into the sports industry. The Melbourne United Sport & Business Program, powered by SEDA, is a one-year dual Diploma in Sport and Business that is designed to give Year 12 graduates the opportunity to study in a practical environment, and learn from industry experts, coaches and elite athletes inside Melbourne United.

Students connect and learn from Melbourne United’s very own industry experts, coaches and elite athletes and gain an exclusive opportunity to study in a practical, applied learning environment and gain hands-on experience in the sports industry, working alongside Melbourne United.

The program develops student’s skills and knowledge across a variety of areas including sponsorship, project and event management, talent identification, and social media and marketing. The skills and knowledge developed within the program allow students to gain meaningful insights into a range of roles and careers within the elite sports industry.

Melbourne United CEO Vince Crivelli encouraged all young adults who are thinking about pursuing a career in sport to consider the unique opportunities that the MCSC can provide students.

Applications are now open for 2022. Places are limited so interested students are encouraged to apply to secure their position.
