Melbourne United are set to continue their pre-season with a pair of games against the Brisbane Bullets in Ballarat and Casey.

Thanks to the City of Ballarat, United will take their training camp to Ballarat as they head into a can’t miss match-up with Aron Baynes and the Bullets at Selkirk Stadium on 8 September, before heading to Casey Stadium for another clash with Brisbane on 10 September.

While in Ballarat, United will be holding a number of community activities and school visits to best get in touch with their regional supporters.

The contests will give United fans their first look at the side’s new additions, such as Rayjon Tucker, Jordan Caroline and Xavier Rathan-Mayes in Melbourne colours.

United CEO Nick Truelson touched on his excitement at getting back out to the community for the pair of games.

“From my time with the Western Bulldogs, as well as time with United, I know how passionate the Ballarat community is about sport, especially basketball.

“The same goes for Casey, which we saw pack out their arena all season in the NBL1.

“Our purpose as a basketball club is to use the power of basketball to inspire, entertain and enrich people's lives, and this opportunity to get out to regional Victoria encompasses every part of that.”

This will be the first time Melbourne has returned to Ballarat since 2019, when United destroyed the Illawarra Hawks 111-70 inside Selkirk Stadium, and the first time since 2018 the side has played at Casey Stadium.

Tickets are on sale NOW! Be sure to get in quick, as seats are expected to fill-up quickly! Members will receive a 20% discount on their tickets via their email, adding even more value to United’s full season, five and three game memberships.

Tickets for the Ballarat game are available here, and for the Casey game here.

Fans unable to attend will be able to match the game live and free via Melbourne United’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
