Melbourne United unveil Pride Round uniforms

Melbourne United are thrilled to unveil our Pride Round uniforms to be worn against the Adelaide 36ers on 7 February at John Cain Arena.

The uniforms will feature a representation of the Progress Pride Flag surrounding our iconic UNITED wordmark on the centre of the jersey, showcasing our commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

Head Coach Dean Vickerman touched on his excitement ahead of seeing the uniforms on the court.

“These uniforms present an opportunity to shine a light on the importance of inclusion within sport,” he said.

“I know from our experience with Isaac Humphries how important things like Pride Round and Pride uniforms are to make people feel included and safe within sport.

“I can’t wait to see the team wearing these uniforms, especially as we play against Isaac. It’s going to be an amazing event.”

Our Pride Round game will also feature activations around John Cain Arena from inclusive organisations such as JOY 94.9 and the Melbourne Spectres.
