Members embracing United as ‘the perfect environment for kids’

At Melbourne United, our aim is to create the most exciting environment in Australian sport for our fans and Members.

That is exactly the case for John Buckley, who touched on how special it has been to attend games alongside his two children over the years.

“It’s a fantastic environment for the kids,” he said. 

“I think United does a great job of putting on a great show for the kids and making it really enjoyable for them.

“It’s the perfect world where you have something you can really enjoy alongside your kids. It can be hard to find that right balance but when you do, it’s awesome.

“Having the access to the players is also pretty awesome, getting the members functions postgame where they can hear from the players, get autographs and really have that connection to the team, it’s really special.

“We’re also AFL members but quite frankly, they just want to go to the basketball. We don’t miss a United home game.”
