The NBA Draft pick will make his return in front of another 10,000 plus fans on Sunday

Luke Travers will be back on the court for United this weekend and is keen to help his side pick up another huge victory.

The athletic forward missed Melbourne’s Throwdown XXII win after sustaining a concussion in Round 6, but has made a full recovery and has his sights set on the defending NBL champions.

Speaking to Andrew Gaze and Andy Maher on Friday, Travers touched on the game plan heading into the matchup.

“We’re obviously looking forward to this game coming up… (we’re looking to) continue building our brand of basketball,” he explained.

“Obviously the defensive end is super important to us and we’re going to keep building on that.

On their offensive end, they’ve got a hell of a lot of talent, they play a little bit differently to how everyone else does in terms of the way they switch just about everything.

“We’ve been working on things to take advantage of that but also still looking to build and play in front of a sold out crowd again.”

A win would see United record their fastest start to a season since the NBL21, where they won 10 of their first 12 games en route to capturing the championship.
