The Sporting Globe extends partnership with Melbourne United

Melbourne United is excited to announce that The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill has extended its partnership with the club through the NBL26 season.

First coming on board in NBL18, The Sporting Globe has played host to our fans across countless road games, providing a family-friendly and fun environment to enjoy a great meal.

Across their time with the club, The Sporting Globe has been a part of a pair of Championship victories, and is eagerly anticipating the return of NBL action for NBL26.

Melbourne United CEO Nick Truelson believes having a location like The Sporting Globe gives the club a massive boost of support, regardless of where we’re taking the court.

“Having The Sporting Globe venues across Victoria and around the country as a home for our supporters while we’re on the road is amazing," he said.

“Basketball has a fantastic ability to bring people together, and seeing the vision from our supporters packing out the venue for a watch party when we’re trying to secure a big road win is always really exciting.”

Assistant Brand Manager Luke Colgan said the partnership has always been about creating those same memorable moments for fans.
