‘There’s nothing like it’ says Newley ahead of Olympics

Having suited up for Australia at a pair of Olympic Games, few know what representing your nation at the highest level feels like more than Brad Newley.

Across the Beijing and London Olympics, Newley faced off against stars like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Manu Ginobili and the Gasol brothers, always doing whatever was asked of him to help the Boomers find success.

Now, ahead of the United in Business (UIB) Major Luncheon taking place on June 7 at CENTREPIECE, Newley spoke about his excitement to see how both the Boomers and the Opals can come together heading into the event.

“When it comes to representing your country, there’s nothing like it,” he said.

“Pulling on the green and gold at the Olympics is something I always wanted to achieve throughout my career and to do it twice was incredibly special.

“With Paris getting closer and closer, I think the whole country just gets more and more excited to see what our athletes will be able to do on the grand stage.”
