UPDATE: Since this article was originally published, Throwdown V has been postponed due to the NBL's revision of the 2021 Hungry Jack's NBL Season schedule.

Melbourne United basketball is BACK, and this time we’re going regional!

We are off to Bendigo for the club’s first home game of the season after being advised that due to the ongoing challenges of coronavirus and the Australian Open preparations in January, there would be no possibility of playing our first home games at John Cain Arena.

But Jock Landale, Chris Goulding, Scotty Hopson and the team are raring to go, and will kick off the club's home game season in style, with Throwdown V on January 31st.

Tickets are now on sale to Melbourne United’s first home game to be played at Bendigo Stadium.

The details of Melbourne United's first home game have been updated and are now as follows:

Round 3
Throwdown V
Melbourne United vs South East Melbourne Phoenix
Bendigo Stadium
3:00pm Sunday January 31

We are looking forward to showcasing our club to new fans from regional Victoria who may not have had a chance to get to Melbourne to enjoy one of our home games before, but it is also a chance for our Melbourne-based fans to get out of the city for a day or two and experience all the City of Greater Bendigo has to offer.

Our Bendigo home games will have capacity limits, so we strongly recommend securing your seats NOW in order to get the best ones available and to avoid missing out.
