Tones And I to take the stage at NBAxNBL game

Excitement for our upcoming matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans continues to grow with the announcement that our Number 1 ticket holder, Tones And I, will perform at half-time of the matchup.

The multi-platinum ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter will take to the stage for our contest on Friday 3 October, as well as at the Fan Night on Saturday 4 October.

A lifelong basketball lover, Tones And I said it was an event she couldn’t pass up.

"I love the NBL and I'm a huge fan of basketball in general. I wouldn't miss this for the world,” Tones And I said.

Melbourne United CEO Nick Truelson touched on his excitement at the announcement.

“As a club, we are so privileged to have someone like Tones And I as our Number 1 ticket holder, and can’t wait to see her perform at half time of the first ever game between an NBA and NBL team on Australian soil,” Truelson said.

“Tones And I is one of the very best performers in the country, and we know she’s going to put on an amazing show for every fan in attendance.”

Tickets for the United v Pelicans game are sold out and a limited number of tickets for the Fan Night are still available. All performances are included in the price of each event ticket.

Adding to the star power of the event, NBA Naismith Hall-of-Famer, Ray Allen, has also confirmed his attendance down under. Fans will have the opportunity to engage with the superstar during an on-court Q&A at the Open Training Session on Thursday, October 2, and at an exclusive pre-match lunch event to go on sale soon.
