Underdogs to take the stage at sold out blockbuster

Sunday evening is set to be an amazing celebration of overcoming adversity, as we once again host Fifi, Fev and Nick’s Underdogs team.

A team for every child who’s ever felt left out, overlooked, underestimated, or sidelined by bullying, challenges and self-doubt, the Underdogs are here to show that everyone deserves their moment to shine.

The Underdogs will get a behind the scenes experience during our sold out Championship rematch against the Illawarra Hawks, before taking the court at halftime to experience the roar of our amazing home fans.

Forward Tanner Krebs touched on his excitement to have the Underdogs back in our arena for the can’t miss contest.

“It’s an amazing initiative that I was stoked to see we were taking part in again this season,” Krebs said.

“Basketball is a sport for everyone, and at Melbourne United we want to make everyone feel welcome and included, so getting the kids in for this sort of experience is really special.

“I hope the crowd gets loud and cheers them on whenever they’re on the court.”

Tickets to the game are already sold out, but any fans not in attendance can tune in live from 2:30pm on Sunday 15 February via ESPN or Channel 10.
