United boast deep coaching/high performance staff heading into Round 1

Melbourne United is excited to unveil the club’s full collection of coaches leading into the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 season.

Led by Head Coach Jacob Chance, who returned to the team on a four-year contract, United boast an experienced lineup of assistants, with Keegan Crawford joining the pair of Rhys Carter, who heads into his eighth season, and David Barlow, who enters his third season in the position following nine years spent in the playing roster.

Nathan Crosswell also returns as Head Coach of Melbourne United Academy and assistant coach, while Seb Lees (Video Coordinator and Development Coach) and Ciro Barilla (Assistant Video Coordinator and Development Coach) have been elevated through the club’s Professional Development Pathway.

Rounding out the coaching staff are Kaylan Kitto, Marcus Russell & Adam Bartosy, who have joined the organisation as interns via the Professional Development Pathway.

Returning as the club’s High Performance Manager is Steve McAdam, who will be supported by Av Kumar (Head Physio), Nick Harrison (Team Physio), Dr Andrew Garnham (Team Doctor).

Jay Ellis continues to lead as the club’s Head of Strength and Conditioning. Working alongside Ellis is Ryan Valent (Strength and Power Coach), Jen Flack (Strength and Conditioning Assistant) and Liam Danaher (Sports Science Intern).

Off the court, Stephan Semerci continues as the club’s Team Manager, Kylie Latu provides support as Team Psychologist, Ola Luczak and Sophie Houghton work as the club’s dietitians, and Mason Taylor acts as the club chaplain.

Melbourne United’s season begins tomorrow night inside John Cain Arena against the Adelaide 36ers from 7:30pm.
