United celebrate best members in the league

Fresh of Melbourne United’s annual Member Appreciation Game, the club has thanked its members for all their support across NBL22.

Over 5,000 supporters filled John Cain Arena on Sunday afternoon to cheer hard for United before the entire team took part in a member signing session.

While the defending champions may have lost the game, Jack White praised Melbourne’s Members for their continued backing.

“The energy that we felt all game was incredible.

“It was so good to see so many Melbourne United fans and Members at the game on Sunday and even better for us to be able to interact with them after the game.

“We have the best fans in the league, and Sunday was a prime example of that. You were with us through thick and thin for the full 40 minutes and that’s something that we’re definitely super grateful for.

“We’re super grateful for all our members, all our fans and everyone that showed up, it means the world to us as a club.”

White added that he is looking forward to feeling that support again on Saturday when United face Illawarra again in Game 3 of the LiceChanger Cup series.
