Each and every season, we would not be able to do what we do as a club without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers.
That is why we want to take this time, at the start of National Volunteer Week, to say ‘Thank You’ to all of the volunteers who make a Melbourne United gameday possible.
With a core group of around 50 volunteers, supported by a wider network of close to 350, our volunteer program is vital.
From supporting the set up and packing down at John Cain Arena, helping with the pre-game clinic, manning activations on the concourse, on court with floor & ball wiping and with assisting our mascots, our volunteers wear a variety of hats.
At the close of our NBL26 campaign, we recognised Sarah Love as the Melbourne United Volunteer of the Year.
Having spent the past three seasons volunteering, Sarah always brings a positive, can-do attitude to gamedays, while leading by example no matter what they have been tasked with.
