Melbourne United’s 2022-23 Hungry Jack’s NBL schedule has been released, and it couldn’t be better for fans. With 7 of the club’s 14 home games to be played on a Sunday, plus several blockbuster games across the season, the schedule is stacked with must-attend affairs.

It all starts in Round 1 when Melbourne welcomes the New Zealand Breakers on Sunday 2 October at the family friendly time of 2pm for our first home game of the season.

This kicks off a huge month of action, as United will look to hold down their home court across six games in October - the perfect opportunity to take in all the action with one of our membership packages.

This stretch includes a pair of massive matchups against the Sydney Kings, as well as a battle with new-found rivals the Tasmania JackJumpers.

The final of these October games sees the return of a fan-favourite. Held the night before the Melbourne Cup public holiday, the Cup Eve Game makes its return following a two-year hiatus. The game will be the only time United faces the Perth Wildcats at home this season, with tip off on Monday 31 October at 7:30PM.

The blockbusters keep coming with the very next game being the first match up of the season against cross-town rivals, South East Melbourne Phoenix. Anticipation for Throwdown XVII delivered by DoorDash will yet again be at an incredibly high level, with the rivalry getting more and more heated after each encounter.

Summer basketball will be well and truly back into full swing come December, with United hosting four games in 13 days.

Among these will be the final Throwdown of the season against the Phoenix on Thursday 15 December, as well as the deciding game of the LifeChanger Cup series against the Illawarra Hawks on Sunday 18 December.

Melbourne’s final home game of 2022 will be a momentous occasion, with the club’s much-loved Open Air Game returning for the first time in two seasons.

United will face the Cairns Taipans under the night sky on December 23 in what is set to be a can’t-miss experience for fans.

Following a seven-game road trip after this home stand, Melbourne will close their season with a family-focussed battle against the Adelaide 36ers on 5 February, United’s final game of the regular season.

With so many spectacular gamedays set for next season, United Memberships are the best and most affordable way for fans to watch the NBL and be part of their favourite club, so now is the TIME TO UNITE!

Melbourne United Memberships are selling fast, with some categories already sold out.

Single game tickets will go on sale Wednesday, 10 August via Ticketek. Keep an eye on the Club’s social media for more information.
