Melbourne United is excited to return to Ballarat and get back within the local community through a number of junior clinics, as well as a coaching seminar.

Ahead of United’s blockbuster preseason hit out against the Brisbane Bullets at Selkirk Stadium on 8 September, Melbourne’s premier basketball team will host close to 200 juniors for their free Skill Development Clinic and Junior Super Clinic.

The Skill Development Clinic, which you can sign up for here, is open to children aged 14-18, while the Junior Super Clinics, which you can register for here, are open to children aged 6-13.

Both camps will take place from 4pm-6pm on Monday 5 September. Spots are limited, so sign up today!

Following this, United’s coaches will host a seminar on Tuesday 6 September from 6pm-7pm at Selkirk Stadium, as they aim to pass on their knowledge to local coaches. Registrations are open now.

Melbourne United Community Engagement Manager Nicola Parkinson touched on her eagerness to get the team back within the Ballarat community through these events.

“Being away from the region for so long has been difficult, so to finally be able to return to Ballarat and have our players and coaches on court with the community will be great,” she said.

“Every time we head to Ballarat we’re welcomed with such open arms by the entire community, and we’re anticipating that to be the same as we head into our preseason game.”

Tickets are on sale NOW! Be sure to get in quick, as seats are expected to fill-up quickly! Melbourne United Members will receive a 20% discount on their tickets via their email, adding even more value to United’s full season, five and three game memberships.
