Fresh off the fourth-largest Championship series victory in the 40-minute era, Melbourne United’s stars are looking forward to heading over to Tasmania for Game 2.
United have held their own when playing over on the Apple Isle, having split their six games inside MyState Bank Arena ahead of Friday night’s contest.
A man intimately familiar with the Tasmanian surrounds is Launceston-born Chris Goulding, who dominated Game 1 with his shooting (22 points, six three-pointers).
Speaking on SEN ahead of the matchup, CG43 voiced his excitement at playing in front of the always energetic JackJumpers crowd.

“These are the environments that you want to step into and go and try to get wins,” he told Dwayne Russell.
“We’ll be embracing that, we’re looking forward to it. It’s a great environment to play in, their fans do a great job of packing it out and being loud, as do ours, so it’s what you want from a league that’s growing and teams that are at the top of their game.
“We really look forward to it… All we’re thinking about are the first few minutes of the first quarter in that game down in Tassie on Friday night and how we can come out and be better than we were (on Sunday) night.”
Following Game 2, United will return home for what is sure to be a massive Game 3 at John Cain Arena on Sunday 24 March from 5:30pm.
