United proud to celebrate diversity of Melbourne

In everything that we do at Melbourne United, ensuring we live up to our key value of inclusivity is paramount.

That is why events like the annual Multicultural Game, Indigenous Round and Pride Round are so important to the club.

Looking ahead to the start of our NBL25 campaign, Head Coach Dean Vickerman spoke about why he and his side find it so crucial to celebrate the diversity of the city of Melbourne through these game days.

“They’re games and rounds that mean a lot to us,” he explained.

“Over my time at the club, our team has always been a diverse group of guys brought together by basketball and we want to celebrate that.

“It mirrors our community and our fanbase. We strive to be an inclusive club that welcomes everyone to come together and enjoy basketball.”
