Having won five of their six games since the calendar switched over to 2023, Melbourne United are ready to leave it all on the floor in their final regular season home game in hopes of keeping their season alive.
Speaking after United’s practice on Friday afternoon, Marcus Lee told media members that he and his teammates are not ready for their season to end.

“This has been a great ride and we’re trying to push this a little bit longer,” he said.
“That’s our job, our job is to fight like hell each game and that’s what we’re going to go and try to do.”
When asked about if there have been any changes to the team’s mindset given the magnitude of the game, Lee spoke about how his side’s hot run of form has helped prepare them for the matchup with Adelaide.
“I think the mindset is the same as it’s been this past month. We’ve had the mindset of ‘whatever it takes’,” he continued.
“Every player and every coach has made that an emphasis over these last couple of games and we’re going to continue that. It’s whatever it takes to get us in (to finals) and we’re going to go from there.”
