United showcase hoops across school holidays

Across the most recent school holidays, Melbourne United had the pleasure of traveling across Victoria to engage with the community at the grassroots level through our camps and clinics.

Close to 1,100 boys and girls participated in our 1 & 2 Day Camps in Melbourne and Geelong, learning the joys of basketball while having fun with their friends.

Regionally, we visited Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton, Horsham, Ararat, Mildura Robinvale, Echuca, Shepparton, Wangaratta and Euroa to deliver our free United for Her Clinics to 945 girls.

With the focus of sharing the power of basketball, while breaking down some of the barriers girls face in getting involved in the sport, it was amazing to see so many young women enjoy their time on the court.
