United stars set to take the court in NBL1 South Blitz

A collection of Melbourne United players are set to take the court this weekend as part of the NBL1 South Blitz in Frankston.

Taking place across Saturday and Sunday, eight games will feature talent from United’s NBL23 campaign.

It all begins with David Barlow’s Sandringham Sabres team, which also features David Okwera and Campbell Blogg, facing off against the Geelong Supercats at 10:30am.

A pair of MU Development Players will then do battle at 1:30pm when Cal Dalton and the Eltham Wildcats clash with Zac Triplett and the Keilor Thunder.

At 2:30pm, Mason Peatling and his Knox Raiders will meet the Melbourne Tigers before the day closes with Brad Newley and Lachie Barker teaming up with Frankston to play the Dandenong Rangers.

Sunday’s slate of games will start at 9am, with Knox challenging Sandringham before Frankston go against Ballarat at 11am.

Eltham will play their second game of the weekend against Dandenong at 1:30pm, leading into the final MU-related game as Keilor match up with Waverley.

 

Full schedule

Saturday

10:30am Court 2 - Geelong v Sandringham.

1:30pm Court 3 - Eltham v Keilor.

2:30pm Main Court - Knox v Melbourne.

6:30pm Main Court - Frankston v Dandenong.

Sunday

9am Court 2 - Knox v Sandringham.

11am Main Court - Frankston v Ballarat.

1:30pm Court 3 - Dandenong v Eltham.

3pm Main Court - Keilor v Waverley.
