United young-guns continue to shine in NBL1

Melbourne United’s Development Players continued to shine in the NBL1 this weekend.

Despite falling to the opposition on two outing across the weekend Campbell Blogg was a stand-out for the Sandringham Sabres tallying back-to-back 20 points games.

NBL1 South:
Friday 30^th June – Sandringham Sabres 88 v 96 Nunawading Spectres
Blogg: 28 pts, 4reb, 2ast, 2stl, 1blk

Sunday 2^nd July – Sandringham Sabres 89 v 102 Hobart Chargers
Blogg: 23pts, 8reb, 5ast

While the Forestville Eagles lost their single match-up in the NBL1 Central, Malith Machar was dominant at both ends of the court, finishing the game with a double-double.

NBL1 Central:
Saturday 1^st July – Forestville Eagles 78 v 82 West Adelaide Bearcats
Machar: 16pts, 13reb, 1stl, 2blk

Continuing to the tough losses for the weekend, the Keilor Thunder also fell to the Nunawading Spectres in NBL1 South.  Despite the loss, Zac Triplett performed well across his 37 minutes of playing time.

Saturday 1^st July – Keilor Thunder 90 v 105 Nunawading Spectres
Triplett: 14pts, 6reb, 5ast, 1stl
