Vickerman to lead Boomers through Trans-Tasman Throwdown

Melbourne United Head Coach Dean Vickerman is set to lead Australia throughout the upcoming Trans-Tasman Throwdown series against New Zealand.

Vickerman, who was named as the Australian Boomers Associate Head Coach in March, will act as head coach for the series in the absence of Adam Caporn, who remains in the U.S. with the Washington Wizards.

He will be joined by Jacob Chance and Kyle Bowen for the series.

The AUS v NZL Trans-Tasman Throwdown tips off in Adelaide on Wednesday, 7 May, moves to the Sunshine Coast on Friday, 9 May, and wraps up in Hamilton, New Zealand on Sunday, 11 May.
