A pair of Melbourne United stars are set to don the green and gold as part of the Australian Boomers’ FIBA Asia Cup preparations at the end of July.
Next Star Dash Daniels and NBL25 star Jack White have both been named to a 14-man squad to face the University of Colorado on 31 July on the Gold Coast.
Daniels is currently representing his country at the junior level, having helped the Australian Emus to a Round of 16 victory over the Dominican Republic this morning, while White has himself thrived in the offseason, winning the Bundesliga title with German team Bayern Munich.
Daniel's quarter-final matchup against Germany will be streamed live on the FIBA YouTube channel on Friday from 10:30pm.
United Head Coach Dean Vickerman will also be with the team, serving as Associate Head Coach under Adam Caporn.
Since entering the competition in 2017, Australia have never lost the Asia Cup, taking home gold in both 2017 and 2022.
