As Joe Ingles’ return to the NBL with Melbourne United edged closer, the Boomers star has touched on his anticipation to take to the court in front of as many supporters as possible.
Following the release of our home schedule, the date for Ingles’ official United debut has been set for Saturday, 19 September against the Adelaide 36ers.
Speaking to Melbourne United Media, Ingles outlined his desire for that game, along with the rest of our home games, to be played in front of a full crowd.
“I want to see the arena packed out, I want as many fans to come along as possible,” he said.
“I'm gonna do my absolute best to give as much love and attention as I can to each and every kid and fan that comes to a Melbourne United game.
“Just to see John Cain Arena packed out again and hopefully a bunch of number 7 jerseys and everyone cheering for our team, it's going to be special.
“It’s honestly something I never thought I would get to experience again, but looking ahead to playing in front of the Melbourne crowd, in front of my family and friends, I can’t wait. I know Melbourne's gonna put on a show.”
The best way for you to lock in your seat to see every second of Ingles’ NBL return is by becoming a Melbourne United Member.
