Chris Goulding’s hot shooting has helped Cangrejeros de Santurce to back-to-back wins in the Puerto Rican BSN.
Across the two victories, one of which came against former NBL rival, Bryce Cotton, Goulding knocked down seven triples at a 44% clip.
The Cangrejeros now have a 10-6 record and sit second in the conference.
Also suiting up for a pair of big games across the past seven days was Fabijan Krslovic, who is in the midst of a best-of-five game quarter finals series against Crailsheim in the German ProA League.
After going scoreless in Game 1, Krslovic stepped up at home, coming off the bench to produce nine points and six boards in a 17-point victory. The series is tied at 1-1 ahead of Game 3 on May 6.
In New Zealand, both Kyle Bowen and Shea Ili picked up victories, keeping Canterbury and Wellington in first and second on the ladder respectively.
The pair are set to face off this week as part of the Trans-Tasman Throwdown between the Australian Boomers and New Zealand Tall Blacks.
Dean Vickerman is set to lead the Boomers as head coach for the three game series.
The NZNBL is now in their trade period, giving both teams a week off before returning on 17 May.
In the NBL1 South, Tanner Krebs and the Ringwood Hawks cruised to victory over the Mt Gambier Pioneers at home, while Tom Wilson and the Melbourne Tigers came up just short on the road against Eltham.
The pair will both be back in action on 10 May.
