Off-season Games Wrap: Krslovic debuts, Wilson fires in NBL1

Melbourne United’s stars took to the court across the globe over the past seven days, putting up some huge performances in the process.

In New Zealand, Kyle Bowen and the Canterbury Rams extended their winning streak to nine games following a strong showing at home against the Tauranga Whai.

Bowen registered his second double-double of the season in the process, finishing with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

In Dubai, Finn Delany thrived for Utsunomiya’s finals matchups, helping the Japanese side register three wins in four days to claim the Basketball Champions League Asia title. Delany was named as one of the tournament's best five players for his efforts.

Over in the Puerto Rican BSN, freshly-signed Milton Doyle filled up the stat sheet in Mayaguez’s fifth win in a row.

The victory has Doyle’s side sitting one game behind conference leaders Quebradillas.

Closer to home, all four United players in the NBL1 South played in Saturday/Sunday double headers.

Tom Wilson exploded for a season-high 38 points as the Tigers topped the Knox Raiders on the road on Saturday, before going down at home against the Hobart Chargers.

Fabijan Krslovic made his debut for the Sandringham Sabres alongside Dash Daniels

The pair led the side to a pair of victories, with Daniels continuing his impressive showing, improving to 16/26 (61.5%) from deep across his five games.

Tanner Krebs also enjoyed success, dropping 28 points in a big win against Geelong, which he followed up with a steady 14 points as the Hawks overcame Frankston by three.
