Chris Goulding has put together a strong showing for the Boomers against Georgia

Melbourne United star Chris Goulding has played a starring role in the Australian Boomers final FIBA World Cup warm-up game, helping his side pick up another win.

Played behind closed doors at the Tomigusuku City Gym in Okinawa, Japan, the Boomers defeated Georgia 86-81.

While no official statistics were released for the game, CODE Sports was able to share what they saw from a box score, with Goulding scoring the second most points for the Boomers.

The United marksman tallied 13 points, including four three-pointers in the victory, while former MU star Jack White added nine points, as well as a strong dunk.

The Boomers next game will be their first of the tournament, when they face Finland on Friday evening from 6pm.

All of Australia’s games will be streamed live on ESPN.
