Melbourne United captain Chris Goulding is set to join Paris Basketball for the remainder of their French Pro A and EuroCup seasons.

Coming off another All-NBL season which saw him up his scoring numbers while remaining one of the most efficient shooters in the league, Goulding will provide elite spacing to Paris, who are looking to make a playoff push across their final 12 league games.

Goulding will join coach Will Weaver, who he has previously played under for the Boomers.

Before jumping on his flight, Goulding touched on his excitement to join his new teammates.

“I’m really excited to sign with Paris for the rest of their season,” he said.

“I’m excited to get over to France and try and help the team win some games and I’m also really happy to be joining a former coach of mine in Will Weaver.

“On top of this, I can't wait for everything that’s going to be happening next season for Melbourne United in NBL24 and I’m eage to get back in front of our fans at John Cain Arena.”

Depending on Paris’ results across the next few months, Goulding’s campaign in France would run until mid-June at the latest, giving him plenty of time to return to Melbourne to join his United teammates for the rest of the preseason.
